At the Unum Provident conference in Venice, the brief given to The Projection Partnership was for a two screen front projection show. LCD projectors were supplied and the source content was distributed simultaneously to the projectors and the presenters' stage monitor. This event presented some challenges as there was a short time-scale and the transportation in Venice is rather specialised.

The venue was the 5 star Danieli hotel in Venice and the meeting was for the European management executives of Unum Provident. Our brief was for a two screen show front projection. – We were asked to ensure that the technical equipment was to have minimum impact so as not to distract from the Venue's ambience.

Projection Partnership supplied LCD projectors linked by CAT 5 signal distribution routing all the source content through our FSR S2-Folsom data mixer providing feeds to the projectors and the Presenter's stage monitor.

This is a fairly standard rig although the room was exceptionally small and the time scale short we had the added challenge of transportation, being Venice, it meant shipping the equipment by boat from the mainland.

Not quite the norm, but it definitely added a new dimension to being ‘On screen, On cue & On budget'.
